Morning Cup Tea Bag Holder Tutorial

Hi Stampers!  Hope you all had a fabulous Labor Day Weekend!  Dan and I headed out to the Minnesota State Fair on Saturday (along with 175,00 + other fair-goers!).  Today we are just hanging out at the house, so I decided to share a post since I haven't posted since last Thursday..oops, sorry about that!

Inspiration for this fold from Linda Heller's Stamping School

This project is a Tea Bag Holder made with the stamp set, Morning Cup and Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper.  This tea bag holder is a different style than the last one I posted.  Personally, I think this one is easier to make. I am including a tutorial, but I used Pumpkin Pie card stock in the tutorial so it would be easier for you to see the cut and fold lines.
Start with a 6" x 6" square of designer paper or card stock.  Fold it in half one way, open it up and fold in half again as pictured above.
Next, cut one of the fold lines to the middle of your card stock.
Then fold one of the cut sides into a triangle as shown above
Do the same thing on the other side as pictured.
To finish it off, fold the folded ends up to create the pockets, and put a mini glue dot at the top point of each side to hold shut.  That's it!  Decorate as desired :)

Here's how it looks when open with the tea bags!

I'll leave you with a photo of my hubby Dan chowin' down on some Sweet Martha Cookies at the Minnesota State Fair....yummy!  And yes, he did share...LOL!

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Stamping!

LOVE this Laurie! Plus the photo tutorial. CASING this for sure! PS. I'm a bit jealous of the MN state fair picture! One of my downline flew from AZ to MN just to attend the State Fair!!!

I like this idea. I used it today of a tea bag swap project. I did make my fist square 7x7 to better fit the bags I am sending. Thanks!
