Blessed Easter

Hi Stampers!  I offered today's card at a recent Card Buffet Class I held, aren't the colors yummy?  (I was totally inspired by Deb Currier, thanks Deb!).

  Card Inspired by Debra Currier

The card base is Naturals White cardstock - which is perfect to use for a card base because it's sturdier than Whisper White.  The other thing I like about Naturals cardstock, is it's perfect for watercoloring and blender pens.

I stamped the image from the set, Blessed Easter using Black Staz On ink.  Then, using a Blender Pen I colored the image using Melon Mambo and Pistachio Pudding inks.  The background stamp is Hardwood, stamped on Smoky Slate card stock using Smoky Slate ink.

Simply Created Card Kit

Hi Stampers - I am so addicted to Stampin' Up's card kits!  The kit I'm sharing today is called, Simply Created.

These cards are a breeze to assemble, all the work is done for you!  These kits are perfect for beginners who are just learning - BUT, great for experienced stampers too, who need a quick card!  Sometimes our "mojo" is a little off, and these kits are perfect for when that happens too.

I used the photopolymer stamp set, Another Thank You for the greeting.  Photopolymer stamps are perfect to stamp on the pre-cut banners because you can see exactly where you are stamping.  Aren't these striped card bases the cutest?!?

I love the fact these kits come complete with all the die cuts and embellishments.  All you have to do is stamp a greeting and assemble in just a couple minutes.  And, they're cute!  Stampin' Up! has taken out all of the guess work, I love that.

Cheer Up Buttercup!

Hi Stampers!  I made today's card for a swap I participated in recently - isn't the sentiment cute? Who wouldn't like to receive this card  - it's sure to put a smile on anyone's face ;)

The sentiment is from the stamp set, Geometrical.  And the darling flowers were made using the Petite Petals Bundle.  I used the Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper, and ran it through my Big Shot using the Hexagon Hives Thinlits (one of my new favorite things).

I used the Banner Framelits to stamp the sentiment on and mount the flowers.  I popped up each flower with a Dimensional and topped them each off with a Candy Dot!

That's it, easy peasy!

Petal Parade Hello

Hi Stampers!  The clocks a-tickin' and Sale-A-Bration is over in six days!  Here's a peek at a card I made using some of the products available through our Sale-A-Bration promotion.

Card Inspired by Julie Davison - thanks Julie!

Can you spot the Sale-A-Bration items? First, the Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock is textured using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  Next, the beautiful floral images are stamped using the Petal Parade stamp set.  Cork flowers?  Yep!  They are also available as an accessory pack along with the twine shown on this card.

I added a Large Rhinestone to the center of the cork flower for some bling - and the "Hello" is from the stamp set, Four You.

You're Lovely - Sale-A-Bration

Hi Stampers!  Today's post is a card I made using the stamp set, You're Lovely.  This set is available until March 31st as one of our Sale-A-Bration sets.  I love that it coordinates with our Deco Label Framelits.

I did use the stamp set, Petite Pairs for the sentiment, it fit perfectly in the label area!  The embossing folder I used is Beautifully Baroque, isn't it pretty?  I love the victorian "flair" it gives any card :)

To color the flower, I used a blender pen to give it a softer look, and added some basic Pearls to the center of the flowers for some embellishment.
